So much sunshine filled the week. It’s been days of outdoor play, impromptu picnics, and warm evenings that make everything feel lighter. I ought to restock sunscreen and maybe consider a practical, stylish hat so I don’t stand out too much among the sun-hungry kids. Right now I’m crossing my fingers that I finally managed to wear them out enough to skip a 6 a.m. wake-up call—no promises, though. For tonight, I’m planning to go to bed early. Or at least to try—perhaps after one more glass of wine and a few slow minutes of quiet reflection on a week that was busy, messy, and utterly full of life.
